Eric Stromberg

Eric Stromberg is a Partner at Terrain. He is also Founder and Board Member of Check, the embedded payroll API that platforms of all sizes — from startups to public companies — use to launch new payroll products.

Previously, Eric has made venture and/or personal investments in early-stage companies like Flock Safety, Bridge (acquired by Stripe), Figma, Lattice, Plaid, Rinsed, Homebase, and Check.

Prior to founding Terrain, Eric served as Founder and Managing Partner of Bedrock. He was also the CEO of Oyster, which was named one of TechCrunch’s Best Apps of the Year and later acquired by Google.

Eric is originally from Bethesda, MD and received his BA from Duke University.
